"Protea" opens at the Luana Hotel!
Noriko completed a commission for the new Protea restaurant in the Outrigger Luana Hotel in Waikiki. The painting serves as the namesake and logo for the establishment. "Protea" joined another one of my originals "Under the Sun" which hangs in the lobby.

"Lime Italian Glass" wins First place at AHA Exhibition
Jurror David Behlke has awarded " Lime Italian Glass" by Noriko Wakayama first place in the Association of Honolulu Artists Exhibition. The exhibition will run until March 20th, 2009 at the Lobby Gallery of 1132 Bishop Street, on Fort Street Mall, downtown. The Association of Hawaiian Artists is the states oldest art organization, established in 1926.
