Ten years went by since I thought that I must paint "Eye Witnessed" someday. However, I know that I need at least one year to complete it, and I did not have time for it. And one day, I shared my thought with my art friend, who said: "who would buy a painting that shows our own country burning?"

Is that the way people would see it?

Why do directors make cruel historical films or authors write details of bloody historical events or print photos depicting tragic events?

Is it to have an account of history for future generations?

Future generations must see the harsh reality of historical events, so it never repeats itself!

I am an artist who wants to show what I saw on September 11th, 2001. In the room by myself, the things of that day that appeared on my small tv screen were impactful. It hit my heart deeply.

At the beginning of painting my "Eye Witnessed," I started with the New York Skyscraper (picture A), then I painted the explosions (picture B), next I painted the people who run away from the towers before they collapsed (picture C). And with the finishing touch, I painted the cornea, as you can see in the final and main image.

September 11th, 2001 is the cruelest historical event I ever witnessed in my life which I would never forget, and from that, I hope it will never happen again.

This painting is not only a memory but a part of history. If you wish to learn more before purchasing "Eye Witnessed," please send me an email or call my numbers for inquiry.
